A second defendant in the beating of 18-year-old actor Christopher Borgzinner on Muni was arraigned in San Francisco Superior Court Tuesday morning. Fagamalama Pasene, 16, entered pleas of not guilty to all three felony counts, two for assault and one count of second-degree roberry. Yesterday, Pasene’s co-defendant, Uluao Mase, 18, also pleaded not guilty to the same charges, as well as three additional gun-related felony charges. The bail for both defendants was set at $200,000. Both have preliminary hearings set for Nov. 2. Borgzinner suffered broken facial bones and other injuries as a result of the beating.
